We hope this we site will assist you in finding a large variety of products and services that are offered right here, locally, in Norwich.

In today’s world, we are bombarded with messages about various products and services that are available for purchase in many places. A consumer has numerous alternatives as to where they may purchase whatever it is they need.

The “Big Box” retailers offer many choices and selections, as do on-line businesses; but your local, hometown merchants offer you something that is difficult to find in these other stores, they offer a knowledgeable staff and service beyond the sale. If they are unable to assist you with a product, chances are they can inform you of someone who can.

Remember... for every dollar you spend at a local merchant, 45 cents is invested back in our community. For every dollar you spend at a “Big Box” store, only 15 cents comes back to our community.

Association, please come to a meeting and learn how
you too can be involved.

All meetings are held at Café Connection starting at 8:30
am. 2010 Meeting Dates are as follows: February 11,
March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12,
September 9, October 7 and November 11.

To all residents of the greater Norwich Community,
did you know Your Norwich Merchants Association has
brought the following to Downtown Norwich?

* The Easter Egg Hunt held in conjunction with the
Norwich Volunteer Fire Dept.: This 2009 first time
event has been improved upon for 2010.

* Life's a Beach Sidewalk Days: A Free Family
Weekend of events that included free movies, bounce
houses, and numerous children's activities.

* The Boo Bash Scavenger Hunt: Held during Pumpkin
Festival, merchants awarded over $300 in gift
certificates to winning participants.

* The Reindeer Run Holiday Promotion: This local shopping program
offered over $500 in prizes and awards to winning
participants.

In addition, the Merchants Association offers members a web
site and prints the annual Shop Norwich brochure.
